What is it?
The training of the schools opens not only to students and staff, but also to families. Family formation is based on the successful training actions and responds to the interests and needs of families.
One of the most successful formations are dialogic literary gatherings that take place with family and. People community members very different profile (with or without academic qualifications, from different cultures, ages, backgrounds, lifestyles, religion, ideology, etc..) Share discussions, develop critical reflection and knowledge construction around a work universal classical literature. Thus, people who had never read these books, or any book, show great satisfaction and enthusiasm for reading literary works like James Joyce, Cortazar, Sappho, The Arabian Nights, The Ramayana or The Odyssey.
Research has shown that students' interactions with other social actors involved in their education directly influence school performance. Therefore, not only necessary teacher training but also the formation of families and other community members. One of the contributions arising from INCLUD-ED (2006-2011) is that the academic performance of boys and girls do not depend on both the level of schooling families, like the fact that when the sons / daughters are in school also families are doing training.
How is it organized?
The school offers training programs in space and successful actions taking into account the demands and needs of families and the community. Based on these premises, and they are the ones who decide what they need to learn and when they can.
